Welcome to Campus Recreation and the Leach Center. Here are some tips to help you be a Leach Center pro from the start.
Regular Facility Hours
The Leach Center is open Monday through Thursday 6:00 am until 10:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am until 9:00 pm, and Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. It’s busiest between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm on weekdays. You can also workout at the Fitness & Movement Clinic (FMC)on the 2nd floor of the Health & Wellness Center. It’s open weekdays 6:00 am until 9:00 pm.
Bring Your FSUCard
You’ll present your current FSUCard at the entry desk to get in to the Leach Center (and any other Campus Rec facility).
Proper Workout Attire
Appropriate workout attire and closed-toe, non-marking athletic shoes are required in the fitness areas. Appropriate swimwear is required in the pool and spa areas.
Free day-use lockers of various sizes are available to store your bag, keys, or other items. To use, you’ll enter your own code into the digital lock. If you're keeping your phone with you while you workout, take a photo of your locker so that you don't forget the number.
Gum, Food, and Beverages
Chewing gum is prohibited throughout the facility; we’ll ask you to dispose of it at the entrance. Food is not permitted in the fitness or aquatic areas. Water and sports drinks in resealable containers are allowed throughout the facility.
Towels are for You, Wipes are for Machines
Bring a workout towel from home or checkout a towel for free from the Front Desk, just present your FSUCard. Use a towel to wipe sweat from yourself. Use a disposable cleaning wipe to clean a machine before use. Grab a cleaning wipe from our Sanitizing Stations throughout the facility.
Using Your Cell Phone
While you’re working out you can use your cell phone for multimedia functions (music, video, internet). No talking or messaging is permitted while you’re on a machine. And, taking photos and video is prohibited throughout the facility.
Workout Your Way
