This is a class geared towards the intermediate to advanced Pilates practitioner. The class will move quickly through a series of movements to offer a challenging workout. Pilates engages the mind and conditions the body with a blend of strength and flexibility. With a focus on muscle balance, Pilates helps to improve posture and range of motion by strengthening weaker muscle groups and stretching the over-worked muscles. Knowledge of Pilates and/or a background in dance highly recommended. Modifications will be offered throughout the class.
