Bioluminescent paddle and camp

Come Join Outdoor Pursuits on a one of a kind adventure! We will be paddling in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge during peak time to see bio-luminescent plankton. Dinoflagellate plankton are naturally glowing organisms that light up the waters of the Indian River Lagoon as you paddle through the canals and kayak trails of this unique estuary. The incredible phenomenon is like the northern lights, but in the water. After paddling through glowing waters, we will then set up camp and sleep under the stars.
