Our Outdoor Recreation programs create unique experiences on-campus, at the Rez, and all across the Southeast. Each experience is built to develop new skills, enhance your appreciation of the wilderness, adapt to new and challenging situations, and build lifelong relationships.
Getting outdoors can be a great way to relax and recharge. We’ve got plenty of ideas and tips to help you find an outdoor adventure or excursion that’s right for you while you’re away from campus.
Outdoor Rec: Virtual Programs
You don’t have to come to campus to enjoy the outdoors. Get some ideas for around Tallahassee in our Explore Local video series with our Outdoor Recreation Coordinators, Sean & Sean, on YouTube and adapt them for where you are!
Looking for teambuilding in these virtual times? We have Virtual Escape Room programs that are great teambuilding opportunities for groups of any size. Check out our FSU Challenge programs to see what options we have that would benefit your team, group, or organization.
Feeling Zoom fatigue and want to get outside? We offer both inexpensive Outdoor Pursuits trips and free Campus Adventures. Outdoor Pursuit trips allow you to get out of Tallahassee and explore the great outdoors. Campus Adventures are free, drop-in programs that meet on campus or at the Rez. Play to win, play for fun, play year-round. Whether you’ve never played before, or you want to continue with your favorite sport, we have opportunities to get involved. Our two sport programs, Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs, offer different experiences and sport offerings.
