Meet Kristina Cronin
Campus Recreation alumni take their experiences across the world and into a variety of fields. We talked with Kristina Cronin, who got her start as a lifeguard and went on to Communications Supervisor. Today, Kellie is teaching a class of kindergartners at an elementary school in Orlando.

What is a day in the life at your current position?
I teach Kindergarten. I arrive at work by 7:30 every morning. Teach all subject areas to 5 and 6 year olds. I also plan with my Kindergarten team and partake in professional developments with the instructional staff at my school.
How did you get your start in Campus Recreation?
Started as a lifeguard at the Leach my sophomore year at FSU.
How did your time at Campus Rec contribute to your life and/or career goals?
I grew in my position at Campus Rec from lifeguard to Communications Supervisor. I learned lots of management skills in this role as well as working with a team of people to run a cohesive staff.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Campus Rec?
All the fun activities we did as a lifeguard staff. Also working at the Rez!
What advice would you give yourself in college?
Don’t focus on your future career path. Use this time to explore everything and find something that you love!
