Trip Details
  • Current FSU Students: $120
  • Non-Students: $150
  • Departure: Fri Sept 21 at 10:00 am
  • Return: Sun Sept 24 at ~ 5:00 pm
  • Van Travel Time: 2 hours and 49 minutes each way
Recommended Skills

This medium difficulty level trip will include 31 miles of canoeing (split into 3 days, about 3 hours per day) on
the scenic Blackwater River Paddling Trail. The trip will
also include camping on the sandy banks of the
Blackwater River.

Registration Fee Includes
  • Transportation to/from FSU Campus
  • 2 Outdoor Pursuits trip leaders
  • Camping gear – tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags/pads
  • Paddling Equipment: Canoes, Paddles, and Personal Flotation Devices
  • Stoves, Fuel, and Cooking equipment
  • Water
Participants Provide
  • Bathing suit
  • Shoes you’re okay with getting wet
  • Towel
  • Dry clothes to change into
  • 2 Water bottles
  • Food: 2 Breakfasts, 3 Lunches, 2 Dinners, and snacks
  • A bowl or Tupperware to eat out of and a utensil
  • Hat, glasses, and sunscreen
