Florida State University is competing in the 2019 AORE Outdoor Campus Challenge, running September 16 – October 13.
Sponsored by the the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE), the challenge seeks to inspire students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to spend more time outside. Outdoor activities are worth points, logged with photos through the AORE Campus Challenge app.
Each outdoor activity logged counts towards the individual’s total and the university leaderboard, which pits Florida State against 98 schools across the country. Activities range from 2, 5, or 10 points and include activities such as camping, fishing, water sports, yoga, walking, disc golf, running, and more. See the full poster of activities and points here.
