Campers participate in activities that include water safety, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, swimming, challenge courses, team building, climbing wall and outdoor education.
Our Day Camp is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 14. Seven one-week sessions are available (running June 14 through July 30, with no breaks), operating each week Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. Campers can be dropped off as early as 7:30 am with camper pick-up extending to 5:45 pm each day.
Activities for campers at Day Camp include many of the following (and more!):
- Climbing Wall
- Field Games
- Challenge Course
- Outdoor Education
Campers must have reached their 8th birthday prior to the first day of camp session and must not have reached their 15th birthday by the first day of the camp session; proof of birthdate is required for placement into appropriate group. Campers do not need to have prior experience in the following activities but must be physically able to participate: paddling, rock, climbing and hiking.
Upon registration, you’ll need to download the Parental Informed Consent Form, which will be provided during the registration process. The consent document can now be digitally signed and emailed to us at email@example.com. Your payment without the additional documentation is considered incomplete. The Informed Consent Form may only be signed by the camper’s parent or legal guardian.
Summer 2021 Rate: $250 per camper per session.
Save $10 when you register an additional camper (that resides in the same family household throughout the year) for the same session as another family camper.

The Camp Flastacowo Day Camp is operated by staff members of FSU’s Campus Recreation department. All personnel are trained in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and emergency procedures. Each staff member has completed an intensive 40-hour camp training and has passed a background check. Certified lifeguards and other support staff supervise all waterfront activities.
