To enter any Campus Recreation facility, all participants shall meet the following guidelines.

Access Requirements

Effective Sunday, May 9, 2021

Scan or Show Current, Valid FSUCard
Participants shall self-scan the ID barcode from their FSU Rec app at the facility entrance to verify access eligibility.  For those without access to the FSU Rec app, participants may show their FSUCard to facility staff to verify eligibility for access.

Visit our FSU Rec App Help Desk for assistance with loading your ID card into the app.

No Reservation or Daily Wellness Check Required
Beginning May 9, reservations will no longer be needed to access any Campus Recreation facility. Access will be on a walk-in basis up to facility capacity.  Facility entry and exit will be monitored to ensure appropriate usage levels.  When full, patrons will be required to wait outside for another patron to exit.  You can monitor facility occupancy levels in the FSU Rec app, updated regularly throughout the day.

Face Masks Recommended
A face mask is recommended when interacting with staff (indoors or outdoors) and when appropriate social distancing is not possible.  This reflects a shift from the previous face-covering requirement and reflects the University’s substantial efforts to vaccinate the University community (visit vaccine.fsu.edu for an appointment) along with a low number of COVID-19 cases on campus.

Have a Water Bottle
Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle to allow for proper hydration during their visit.  Any resealable container is acceptable.  Select facilities will sell bottled water, sports drinks, and water bottles.  Touchless bottle filling stations or an alternative method of bottle filling with proper sanitization will be available at each facility.  Use of bottle fillers without a water bottle will not be permitted as a sanitary issue.
