Disk Golf at the Rez

Sport Details

Annual Leagues

Leagues with regular season games and postseason championship playoffs are traditionally offered in fall and spring semesters.

Playing Format

2v2 open league. Team roster size is a max of 4. There are 9 holes to be played on this course. Teams will play each Friday from 2-5pm for 6 weeks. The team with the lowest combined score after 6 weeks will be declared the winner of the league.

Playing Location

Games are played at the FSU Reservation (the Rez).

Related Sports

Intramural Sports also offers Ultimate Frisbee and Double Disc.

Teams will play with 2 (no more than 4 on a roster), and we will have a 2v2 match-up where teams meet for one game every week. Disc Golf is played like traditional golf, but with disc golf discs instead of balls and clubs. One throw (stroke) is counted each time the disc is thrown and when a penalty is incurred. The goal is to play each hole in the fewest strokes possible. The team with the lowest total strokes for the entire course after 6 weeks of play wins. The hole is completed when the disc comes to rest in a disc golf basket. Games will occur until completion of the disc golf course, or if 30 minutes passes, then the team with the lowest score will win the match-up.
