Having trouble with your FSU Rec mobile app? Here are solutions to common problems.

Your Account

Your account in the new FSU Rec app is connected to your University login, currently in use for other University online applications such as Canvas. The account is the same that is used in our Rec Connect web portal.

Other Campus Recreation members who are not FSU students, faculty or staff, can create an account. We encourage you to do so via our web-based Rec Connect portal. Click Sign-Up in the upper right corner and follow the on-screen instructions. Once complete, please email Member Services, call us at 850-644-0548, or stop by the Member Services Desk on your next visit so that we can connect your web account with your membership to allow you to register for classes and programs properly.

iPhone: Allow App Tracking

Due to a March update to iOS, users must adjust their app permissions to allow app tracking for the FSU Rec app.

Go to App Permissions > FSU Rec and select Allow Tracking. If this setting is already selected, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the FSU Rec app.

If you have further challenges with the app, please email Member Services for assistance. In the meantime, you can always register for classes and programs via our Rec Connect web portal through any web browser. Click the Rec Connect button in the upper right of this page (or direct link: https://rc.campusrec.fsu.edu), sign-in using your normal login credentials and get registered.

Registering for Group Fitness

Group fitness reservations open 25 hours in advance of the start time for the specific time period. For example, reservations for a class starting at 2:00 pm begin at 1:00 pm on the day prior to the class day.

To reserve a spot in a class, from the home screen, touch the appropriate program icon (Group Fitness, Spinning, F45, etc). Choose a day and select the reservation desired. Touch the REGISTER button to go to the registration portal. Select your class time again and touch Register button. To complete your registration from the Shopping Cart, scroll down and touch Checkout. A pop-up window will appear to touch Checkout again to confirm your registration. Note free classes do not require payment.

Once complete, a “Your Order Was Processed Successfully” will appear on screen and you will receive 2 emails, one a receipt ($0 for free classes) and one email with more class details.

View or Cancel a Registration

To view current and past reservations, from the home screen, touch the My Profile button at the bottom. Then touch Programs for a list of your registrations (scroll down as needed).

To cancel a registration, from the home screen, touch the My Profile button at the bottom. Then touch Programs for a list of your registrations (scroll down as needed). Locate the registration you need to cancel, scroll to the right end of the line, and click on the three dots. Select Cancel Registration from the pop-up menu. The status will change to Cancelled when complete.
