Having trouble with the DSE Rec Center mobile app? Here are solutions to common problems.

Your account in the DSE Rec Center mobile app is connected to your University login, currently in use for other University online applications such as Canvas. The account is the same that is used in our Rec Connect web portal. When logging into our DSE Rec portal, FSU students, faculty, and staff will always select “University Account” to login.

Other Campus Recreation members who are not FSU students, faculty or staff, will select the “Local Account” option and use the email you used for your membership with FSU Campus Recreation as your username. For your first use of the Rec Connect web portal, you will want to use the Reset Password link to set your password. You may also reset your password in the future with that feature.

Group fitness class registration opens 25 hours in advance of the start time the specific class. For example, reservations for a class starting at 2:00 pm begin at 1:00 pm on the day prior to the class day.

To reserve a spot in a class in the DSE Rec Center app:

1. Click on the Modules tab, then Classes button, then the Program Area that interests you to view the list of classes offered.
2. Locate the class you want to take either in the calendar or grid (list) view. You can use the search boxes to narrow the list.
3. For the class, day, and time desired, touch the Register button. A new Class Description screen will appear with class details.
4. Scroll down to the bottom and touch the BLUE Register button. A Registration Summary screen will appear.
5. Click the BLUE Complete Registration button.

As a confirmation, a Registration Complete screen will appear with a large blue check. You will also receive an email at your FSU account (or for non-University members, your email on file) with a confirmation.

You can view current class registrations on the Home tab of the DSE Rec App under Upcoming Activities.

To cancel a class registration in the DSE Rec Center app:

1. Click on the Modules tab, then Classes button, then the BLUE My Classes link in the upper right. This will display your current registrations.
2. Touch View button under the class in which you want to cancel your registration. A Class Details screen will appear.
3. Touch the BLUE Unregister link in the upper right. A pop-up box will appear.
4. Finally, touch BLUE Unregister button in the pop-up box to confirm your registration cancellation.

The class will be removed from your list of active classes that appears next. You will also receive an email at your FSU account (or for non-University members, your email on file) with a confirmation.
