Lakefront Operations

Apply to work on the Lakefront Operations team at the FSU Lakefront Park. The Lakefront Operations staff provides exceptional customer service and troubleshoots any general questions regarding facility and equipment usage. They manage facility access at the Lakefront Park and oversee rental and sale of items. Staff also conduct continuous surveillance of the park to ensure safety of patrons and facility upkeep. Apply using this application by March 3, 2024 to be considered.

Camp Flastacowo Counselors & Staff

Apply to be a camp counselor this summer at Camp Flastacowo. Camp Flastacowo caters to all campers ages 8-14. Canoeing, sailing, kayaking, outdoor and adventure education, arts and crafts, water safety skills, and building interpersonal relationships are all part of the fun that makes Camp Flastacowo an unforgettable summer experience.

Expectations of an applicant include the desire to learn more about facilitation and skills, as well as a personal investment in continuing a tradition of excellence both as an ACA accredited summer camp and as representatives of the Florida State University. If hired, Camp Flastacowo requires that applicants be available May 28-31 for training, and from June 3 – August 5 for camp and camp clean up. There will be a week long break from July 1-5.

Challenge Course (Low Course) Facilitators & Climbing Wall Staff

FSU Challenge is aimed at providing the opportunity for groups to experience quality team-building. The program focuses on helping groups come closer together, overcome differences, learn about each other, build self-esteem, and have fun. Facilitators will tailor the activities to teams, allowing them to take the lessons they’ve learned on the course back to the office, classroom, and real life. Our courses are located on beautiful Lake Bradford at the FSU Lakefront Park and are open to FSU students, faculty and staff as well as to the surrounding community.
