Florida State University’s Group Fitness program offers over 2 dozen different classes and over 70 sessions each week during the fall and spring terms and dozens weekly each summer. All Group Fitness classes are FREE for current FSU students and Campus Recreation members.

Our cardio classes are designed to get your blood pumping! Each class is 55 minutes in length, unless noted. Touch a class name for complete details and the class’s weekly schedule.
Our small group training classes, such as NoleFit, are similar to group fitness classes but are led by our nationally-certified personal trainers and feature more personalized instruction (more trainers per participant).
GFIT: Group Fitness Instructor Training
Over the course of 6 weeks, participants will learn the skills needed to teach a variety of different fitness classes including step, kickboxing and strength. After completing GFIT, you’ll be ready to audition for a position on our team. Sessions provide theoretical and practical trianing in preparation for taking a national certification exam. We do not offer an official certification.
Our Spring 2019 course begins Tuesday, January 29th and ends Thursday, March 7th with class sessions Tuesday afternoons from 3:45 until 4:45 and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 until 3:30.
