My fitness philosophy is showing up. If you’re able to get in the habit of putting in the work as often as possible it makes all the difference. Even though I too struggle with this, I know showing up is the hardest part and as long as I do that everything will come naturally. When planning workouts for clients, I use my knowledge of their capabilities to determine weight and rep count. I focus on the goals set by clients and create workout plans that will push clients to reach beyond weaknesses, so we can build confidence to achieve those goals. To me, fitness means physical health. When looking at fitness I try to look from an objective view with specific measurements. Body image is constantly changing and it’s important to focus on the facts of physical health and understand that it’s not a specific body type or appearance.

Olympic lifting is not just for the competitions, it can help you reach goals you never thought you’d set. Olympic lifting is a fantastic way to get strong, have fun, and test your limits. I like to set goals with my athletes and train them to meet, then exceed, those goals. I have been group coaching for almost a year and look forward to coaching one-on-one.

  • Olympic Lifting Coach Only (USAW Level 1)

I like to focus on technique and mobility as the staples of the Olympic Lifts, as they are vital to progressing in weight. I think perseverance is really important because not every lift will go perfectly, but if you’re willing to try, you can really surprise yourself with what your body can do. From beginners to experienced lifters focusing on programming and fine-tuning, I’m excited to work with you! My goal is for you to feel confident under the bar and have fun with it!
