I originally was an athlete at my previous university, so I have always had a passion for working out. I am a big believer in longevity, so I aim to perform each workout properly and like to train for functionality and athleticism. I generally take a bodybuilding approach when I train and plan workouts, but like to mix in exercises to increase certain athletic abilities. Fitness for me is the perfect way to start the day because it is one positive activity already done and the day has just started. I am also a F45 coach – I hope to see you in some my classes at the Fitness and Movement Clinic (FMC)!

Fitness looks different to people in many ways but for me, fitness should be fun! My training style includes non-traditional training connecting fun to fitness as I strive to not only meet my client’s fitness goals, but to enhance the emotional, mental and physical aspects of my clients as well. Fitness is a very strong presence in my life because of its multifaceted reward. I have always had a fascination with fitness and how it contributes to optimal health, so it felt natural to pursue a personal training certification to allow me to share my passion with others. My goal as a trainer is to increase my client’s knowledge of exercising and help them meet their goals along the way, as well as being someone they can trust and be motivated by. My passion for fitness developed over years of competitive swimming, but it wasn’t until I began a strength training program that I truly fell in love with the process.
