About the Club

Established in 2012, the Garnet Girls Competitive Cheerleading Club is a student-run organization for students interested in collegiate-level competitive cheerleading. The team, comprised primarily of girls with level 4 skills and above, practices 2-3 times a week throughout the fall and spring semesters in preparation for competition season in the spring. The squad, also known as the “Garnet Girls” competes at several competitions such as NCA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL and hosts their own competition called Seminole Showdown in February held in the Tully Gymnasium on the Florida State University campus.
