About the Club
The Skeet and Trap Club is primarily a competitive shotgun shooting team that competes in American Skeet, American Trap, Sporting Clays, Super Sporting Clays, Doubles Skeet and Doubles Trap. However, recreational shooters are also welcome; this club is open to all FSU students who enjoy clay target shooting.
No prior experience with shotguns or clay target shooting is necessary to join. We provide fun and safe opportunities for members who have never fired a shotgun before, intermediate shooters, and the most advanced shooters. Our main goal is to exhibit and promote firearm safety while enjoying our favorite sport!
Each semester the club holds an open shoot where we encourage prospective members to come meet the team, try your hand at clay target shooting, and hopefully decide to join us!
