Campus Recreation manages 4 outdoor facilities for competitive sports games, matches, and events along with shared space in Tully Gymnasium and at Speicher Tennis Center.
Rec SportsPlex

Winner of the 2010 NIRSA Outstanding Sports Facilities national award for excellence in recreational sports facilities, this 108-acre recreational sports fields facility on FSU’s Southwest Campus encompasses 21 sports fields and additional activity spaces. Among the 21 fields are 12 multipurpose fields for IM flag football and rec soccer, 4 tournament fields for sport club activities such as rugby and lacrosse, and 5 separate softball diamonds.
The Rec SportsPlex is a limited-access facility, providing space for the recreational activities of current FSU students, faculty, and staff during designated open hours only, weather permitting.
Main Campus Fields
1001 St. Augustine Street, Tallahassee, 32306
Formerly the Intramural Sports Complex, the Main Campus Fields provide students and staff recreational sports field space on FSU’s main campus. The facility comprises 13 acres and encompasses 4 sports fields.
The Main Campus Fields is an open-access facility, providing space for the recreational activities of current FSU students, faculty, and staff during daylight hours, weather permitting. Evening hours with lighted fields are available on weekday nights during the fall and spring semesters. Users may be required to present current, valid FSUCard during prime hours to access the facility.
Westside Courts
240 Hull Drive, Tallahassee, 32306
The Westside Courts behind Salley Hall and near the Seminole Cafe dining hall on the westside of FSU’s Main Campus features 2 outdoor basketball courts, 2 sand volleyball courts, 8 pickleball courts, and an outdoor fitness court, along with a pavilion space with restrooms, water fountains, picnic tables, and an equipment checkout service.

Evening hours with lighted courts are available on weekday nights during the fall and spring semesters. Tully Gymnasium
139 Chieftan Way, Tallahassee, 32306
Adjacent to the Leach Center is Robert Henry Tully Gymnasium which has supported athletic and recreational endeavors for the University community for nearly 70 years. Formerly home to such varied activities as course registration and payment, student dance events, and FSU basketball, Tully Gym remains home to several educational, recreational, and athletic programs including Campus Recreation’s Intramural Sports office and indoor activities, sport club activities, the Seminole varsity volleyball team, and the Sport Management academic department.
Tully Gymnasium is only available for scheduled activities and events. Open, walk-in recreation and activities are not permitted.
Speicher Tennis Center
121 Chieftan Way, Tallahassee, 32306
Located just north of the Leach Center and Tully Gym along Chieftan Way, the Speicher Tennis Center contains 12 tennis hardcourts for educational, recreational, and varsity team use.
Speicher Tennis Center is an open-access facility, providing space for the recreational activities of current FSU students, faculty, and staff during daylight hours, weather permitting. Evening hours with lighted courts are available daily. Users may request lights for a specific court by calling 850-644-2525 upon arrival at the facility.
Bill Harkins Field
201 Chieftan Way, Tallahassee, 32306
Located just south of the Leach Center along Chieftan Way, Bill Harkins Field is home to sport club activities along with FSU’s Marching Chiefs athletic band.
Harkins Field is a is a closed-access facility with access available only for the scheduled activities of Campus Recreation, the College of Music, ROTC, and Athletics. No general access is available (no free play or pick-up games).
