Campus Recreation welcomes guests and children, subject to a per-visit fee and during designated guest hours, which vary by facility.

Guest Access

Any community member, 18 years of age and older, may purchase a single-visit guest pass to visit the Leach Recreation Center, Fitness & Movement Clinic, Main Campus Fields, Westside Courts, or Rec SportsPlex during designated guest hours:
Leach Recreation Center
- Mondays through Thursdays: Open until 1:00 p.m.
- Fridays: Open until 1:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. to Close
- Saturdays: All Operational Hours
- Sundays: All Operational Hours
- Holiday & Break Periods: All Operational Hours
Fitness & Movement Clinic, Main Campus Fields, Westside Courts, or Rec SportsPlex
- Daily: All Operational Hours
Guests are not permitted during special operational hours when a Campus Recreation facility is open for student/member access during an emergency closure period of the University.
Guest passes must be redeemed and entry into the facility must occur during designated family & guest hours. No passouts or return entries are permitted.
Guest passes are $10 each plus applicable sales tax.
Single-visit guest passes cannot be utilized to participate in an Intramural Sports game or event or a Sport Club practice, game, or event.
Passes are sold at the Front Desk of the Leach Center or online. No passes are sold at the Fitness & Movement Clinic, Main Campus Fields, Westside Courts, or Rec SportsPlex. Prices do not include sales tax. Payment by credit card only is accepted. Valid photo ID is required of all guest pass purchasers.
Guests may utilize the facility without a sponsor by purchasing a guest pass and being photographed to be added to the department’s attendance system. Guests added to the system will have access to purchase future guest passes in advance via our Rec Connect web portal or in person at their next visit.
All guests are subject to our general facility policies that promote appropriate and respectable behavior within Campus Recreation facilities. Campus Recreation reserves the right to revoke guest privileges at any time without refund. Guest passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Family Access
Effective August 15, 2025
Youth guest passes for guests ages 12 to 17 are $5 plus applicable sales tax. Youth ages 11 and under receive free entry.
Guests under the age of 18, accompanied by an adult, are welcome at the Leach Recreation Center during designated family hours. There are no family hours at the Fitness & Movement Clinic.
Leach Center Family Hours

Guests under the age of 18 are restricted to specific activity areas with our fitness facilities. Areas accessible to children and youth include the basketball courts, racquetball courts, indoor track, pool, and spa areas of the Leach Center.
Passes are sold at Guest Services at the entrance of the Leach Center. All Family Hours passes must be purchased in-person and utilized immediately. No advance sales are available.
All guests under the age of 18 must be sponsored by a current member. Any community member may purchase a single-visit guest pass for family members to visit the Leach Recreation Center. Prices are subject to applicable sales tax. Payment by credit card only. Valid photo ID is required of all guest pass purchasers.
A current member may sponsor a maximum of 2 guests under the age of 18 per visit and is responsible for actively supervising their children during their visit.
Parking
On weekdays between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm, any vehicles without an FSU parking permit are not permitted to park in the lots and parking garages immediately surrounding the Leach Center, FMC, Main Campus Fields, and Westside Courts. Parking is available all day on weekends and holidays for any non-FSU visitors in these lots. Please see posted signage at each lot for additional restrictions.
Hourly (Paid) Parking
Hourly parking, paid via the ParkMobile app, is available in the surface lot to the west of the Leach Center & Tully Gym along Chieftan Way. Hourly parking is available in any non-reserved spot in the St. Augustine Garage across from the Main Campus Fields.
In either location, visitors may park for $1/hour from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm and $0.50/hour from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm on weekdays. Rates are subject to change. Parking in these spaces is free before 7:30 am and after 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Please visit the FSU Transportation & Parking Services web site for additional information on permits and guest parking availability. Public transportation to campus is also available through Star Metro from the City of Tallahassee.
Rec SportsPlex & FSU Lakefront Park Parking
Parking at both the Rec SportsPlex and FSU Lakefront Park is available free of charge, no parking passes required. Vehicles are subject to citation or tow when parked illegally in a no parking zone or in restricted space as designated by signage.
